In the name Allah, the Entirely Gracious, the Ever Merciful

All praises be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. Alhamdulillah, thank you O Allah for giving us another day to live as Muslims, with Iman and Islam strong in our hearts. Insha’Allah. Peace and blessings to our beloved Prophet محمد (p.b.u.h) and his companions for teaching and spreading to us the religion of truth.

My beloved brothers and sisters,

They say, “Oh poor girl you’re so beautiful you know? It’s a shame that you cover up your beauty so”

She just smiles and graciously, responds reassuringly,

“This beauty that I have is just a simple part of me. This body that I have no stranger has a right to see. These long clothes, this shawl I wear ensure my modesty. Faith is more essential than fashion, wouldn’t you agree?”

This hijab, this mark of piety,

Is an act of faith, a symbol for all the world to see,

A simple cloth to preserve her dignity.

So, lift the veil from your heart and seek the heart of purity.

"See the bill-boards and the magazines that line the check-out isles, with their phony painted faces and their air-brushed smiles?

Well their sheer clothes and low cut gowns are really not for me. You call it freedom, I call it anarchy"

My dearest brothers and sisters,

Allah reminds us in the Qur’an:

“O Prophet, tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to bring down, cover their cloaks (veils) all over their bodies. That is more suitable that they will be known and not be abused. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful.”

(Al-Ahzab, 33:59)

 Let us chase the fashion that is blessed by Allah. Forgive me, O Allah, my Lord. Truly, I was once drowning in the lies and deceit blinded by the world but now, I am forever grateful and thankful for Your light.

Why should we chase praises given by the creations of the creator?

Shouldn’t the praises from our Creator be our dying goal?

My cherished brothers and sisters,

Worship the Creator, not His creations.

“Is He satisfied?

Is Allah satisfied?

Is Allah satisfied?

Is Allah satisfied?”

اشهد ان ﻻ اله اﻻ ﷲ, واشهد ان محمد رسول ﷲ

I bear witness that there is no

Lord except Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad (p.b.u.h.) is His messenger.

My dearest brothers and sisters,

"Oh what a wonderful world this would be, if we all open our eyes to see, He is all that we need right now and we could all come together somewhere, somehow"

Allah (s.w.t.) said;

" O Mankind! We have created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female and made you into nations and tribes so that you may know one another (not that you may despise one another). Verily the most honoured of you in the sight of Allah is (he who is) the most righteous. Indeed, Allah is All-Knowing and All-Aware. "

( Al-Hujurat 49:13 )

My beloved brothers and sisters,

Has anyone wished a "happy shahadah to you" before? If your answer is no, then, let me be the very first one to wish you! This is why i love Islam so much. It is such a beautiful family :)

It doesn't matter how different we look on the outside, different sizes, different shapes, what colour of your skin is, what fancy cars or how much money you have, once you recite and believe wholeheartedly in your shahadah;

 

we are all the same, because in the inside of our hearts we are all believers of the religion of truth;

we believe in Allah (s.w.t) as our one and only Lord,

we believe in Rasulullah (p.b.u.h) as His messenger,

we believe in the Qur'an and Sunnah as our guidance,

and we believe that Islam is our way of life.

so that's why dearest brothers and sisters, i love you because of Allah :)

Finding my way back: the opening

Al-Fatihah, the Basis of the Qur'an, The Opening

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

All praises be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds

Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Master of the Day of Judgement

Thee (alone) we worship ; Thee (alone) we ask for help

Guide us on the straight path

The path of those whom Thou hast favoured

Not (the path) of those who earn thine anger nor of those who go astray

(1: 1-7)

Subhanallah! What a beautiful surah indeed :)

This Surah, the Opening, in comparison with other Surahs of the Qur'an regarding its tone and melody, has a particular style which is clearly different and extraordinary.

The other Surahs contain instructions from Allah, Who gives commands and admonishments to His servants, but in this Surah, His (Allah's) words are uttered on behalf of the servants.

In other words, in this Surah, Allah has taught us (His servants) how to speak to Him directly, simply and without a mediator. Masya Allah! Truly amazing, isn't it?

Subhanallah! i reliazed that in a day, we meet Allah (5 times or even more) and bow down in prayer. Begging for His mercy and His forgiveness through this Surah. This is why full surrender to Allah during our solah is important!

Dearest brothers and sisters, i love you because of Allah.

i admit that i am a person brimmed with mistakes and wrongdoings but despite all of that, i dream of becoming a wholesome muslim.

This is why i love Allah so very much. Ya Allahu Ya Ghaffar, the All-Forgiving. He never fails to forgive me eventhough i have sinned.
